The NAUI Open Water SCUBA certification is an entry-level course. Participants must be at least 10 years old, in good health, and able to swim. If you want to get SCUBA certified, start here! This course is open to the public; membership at UNO Aquatic Center is not required.
Included:
- NAUI E-learning
- Pool sessions
- In-person academic review
- Use of tanks, weights, regulator, BCD in the pool
- Dive log - Digital certification card upon completion of check-out dives
Not included:
- Check-out dive: A minimum of 4 open water dives under the supervision of an instructor. SELA SCUBA will have several checkout dive options, ranging from Panama City, FL to international trips.
- Personal SCUBA mask, fins, snorkel (may purchase or rent from SELA SCUBA if needed)

If you answer "yes" to questions #3, 5, or 10 on page 1, or any questions on page 2, you will need a doctor's clearance/signature to participate. We highly recommend consulting with your physician BEFORE you register if you may need clearance.
